Education
This August, we’re shining a light on the critical need for quality education worldwide. According to UNESCO, 251 million children and youth still lack access to schooling with insufficient funding remaining one of the biggest barriers to progress.
At Deed, we invite you to join us in championing education—both within your organization and in your local communities. Through Deed, you can easily donate to PTO/PTA organizations and any public school across the United States. Globally, many primary, secondary, and higher education institutions are recognized charities and can also receive support through Deed.
We encourage you to leverage these resources to launch employee engagement campaigns centered on education, empowering your teams to help open doors for learners everywhere.

Room to Read
Room to Read works to eradicate illiteracy by developing literacy skills and cultivating a lifelong love of reading among primary school children. The program includes teacher training, local-language book publishing, library creation, and curricular resources. Room to Read also promotes gender equality in education via a comprehensive Girls’ Education Program that supports girls through secondary school with life-skills training, mentoring, and community engagement.
Teach for All
Teach for All works to develop collective leadership—across teachers, alumni, and communities—to ensure that all children fulfill their potential. Over 8,400 new teachers are recruited annually and trained through a fellowship program. These teachers then work across 63 partner countries, teaching approximately 1.5 million marginalized students.

WorldReader
WorldReader helps children across the world have access to books. Their goal is for every child to enjoy at least 25 well‑understood books per year, fostering literacy, emotional intelligence, and digital skills. Through their mobile app and other digital resources 22 million children in over 100 countries have gained access to a library of books.
AudioPedia Foundation
Audiopedia Foundation is dedicated to empowering marginalized and indigenous communities—especially women—by providing free, accessible audio-based knowledge. AudioPedia Foundation offers their audio-files with the help of volunteers. Volunteers assist in translating key audio content (e.g., health, life skills) into new languages as well as aiding in the distribution plans for audio content.

Reading Partners
Reading Partners mission is to help children become lifelong readers. Volunteers with Reading Partners will read with children K-4 in person or virtually for about an hour a week. Additionally volunteers can assist with community outreach and reading center operations.
